Sent as a question to the seller:
I am quite curious as to whether you can as a marketer of antiquites even tell the the difference bewteen Mahes or Nefertum, both male deities and Sekhmet which is decidedly a female deity. She is female, ie She has breasts and wears a long sheath dress. She usually carries the ankh and or papyrus sceptre. Women and female deities do not wear men's kilts - unless they are Hatshspesut. Where on this piece is there any inscription on this piece that denotes that it is Sekhmet?
If you have pictures of the inscription (if any) please forward them.
