Jan. 24th, 2003 05:34 pmI just have a half hour more of work before I can go home. Its been a very long day, and its going to be an even longer weekend. Next week the store opens officially. We are *technically* open now, and have gotten a few orders.
Its been so damned cold lately, 3 degrees(f)with a minuse forty or so windchill. Our snowfall in Iowa this year has been like .2 of an inch! *stare* Im not sure what that is about, but hey. Must have been because I put Deshret into 4WD a few months ago. It hasn't snowed since. Here I have this MONSTER bloody 4WD that is just IMMENSE, can outmaneuver any other 4WD on the road and I don't even get to use it! Heh... I talked to Trevor Martinsen, the former owner (brother in law to Kyle Tapken who owns the local C-store) anyway, he said if I ever want to sell it back, I can get what I paid for out of it. That's one nice thing about the Toyota Landcruisers. On the FJ40 vehicles, you can guarantee its going to retain its resale value. I don't know if I want to though. Im not looking forward to dropping $400 on a new rear heater and putting in a new radio for it. Speakers are top notch, just need a new deck. Any suggestions? I need to have someone install it. We have an Ultimate Electronics here locally. I will probably opt for them unless I can get someone who knows what's what. And... no, I do not want to spend $400 on the darn thing. I don't drive this vehicle all that much. Not at 11 MPG. :-/
