niankhsekhmetI talked to Trilby today. We are accelerating my target date for AHG proffessional recognition. Now that I am at Wild Thyme, I will be doing more clinical hours, and doing consultations. Oh, boy. I am not at the point that I can charge what Trlby charges for private consultation, but I hope to be someday. I have been thrust into a teaching role, which is part of the professional recognition, too.
I've been talking to a member of Henriette Kress' herb list about the Scottish School of Herbalism, and she has encouraged me to go for the correspondence, since I am very serious about it. Now, granted, I won't be a medical herbalist by UK standards, but Kathy (from Scotland) says that is OK. With the AHG recognition, that should be quite ample enough.
In other news, the store is busy. In fact, tomorrow we are going to do our first "Princess Party", a seven year old girl, and her eight guests, and five accompanying adults. And we have another 12 red hat ladies and a respective birthday party for that at the same time. All in all, with the other bookings, we should have 40 people for one seating, and maybe another ten for the second seating at 1:15. All this and consultations, too. I have one client coming in for an herbal formula that I discussed with on Tuesday.
