I had a customer call in and request an aromatherapy catalog. At present, there is nothing seperating the aromatherapy from the herbs from the accessories, its all one big happy catalog. I informed the caller of this and she proceeded to give me her address

'Big Hairdoo Salon
123 Madison Avenue

oh two one five seven six...'

CLICK...

No city, no state....just hung up. I can only assume its New York that she was talking about. Is it just me or do New Yorkers just assume that they are the ONLY City in the entire world that has a "Madison Avenue". I know the zip code identifies the place...but come on, an extra two seconds to say City and state or even four letters..NY NY would help! Are ya'll THAT much in a hurry? ;-)

You need to get yerselves on NDN time! NY Time will give you stomach cancer. ;-)

Actually, New York City zip codes, and certainly Manhattan ones, generally start with ONE, not with ZERO, as she said. So this may not be a New York City call :-D

And many New Yorkers are so proud of where they live they WILL add "New York City" *grin*.

Leave it to you...
