Have you seen the Tarot of the Vampyres. It's gorgeous. That was the last deck I bought.
I have a collection but I rarely use them. Any of them. I have given away quite a few decks.
I gifted away a rare deck which is a collector's item simply because I had nothing else to give at the time. It was a none authorized edition of the White Rider deck. US Games had publication of it stopped. It edging was done in real gold leaf and the back of said deck was emblazoned with an image of an ankh. There were fewer than 500 decks printed in the first and only edition. That was in 1968...the year I started to learn tarot. The deck Itself is a find because it is so rare.
I have no regrets in gifting it away even though I did not know about these facts at the time I did so. I never used it. It did show. It looked new.
I asked my original questions out of interest and curiousity.
