Thank you to cavefelem for pointing out this post. This really horrifies me. I am right now setting up power of attorney for my partner - and her right to inherit if anything happens to me. I cannot believe what I am reading. http://www.livejournal.com/users/penknife/47467.html . All I can say is thank God I do not live in Virginia. Thank God I have no desire to ever live there.
