I hate redundancy. Our timesheets are an exercise in triple the redundancy we need to have
8 hours times five written out not once, or even merely twice but THREE times. How incredibly absurd! How is the information from column A going to change when it gets to Column B or C - especially when overtime has been deemed unacceptable at any time. Then you have to log the time you go to lunch and the time you get back. It's just frankly, rather ridiculous. I have the same lunch time each day, every day...it doesn't vary, doesn't waver. I swear whoever thinks these things up is either bored, has to justify thier position in the company OR has stock in Microsmurf Excel and truly ENJOYS doing spreadsheets.
The dictionary where I work must go something like this:
Redundant - (see 'redundant')
Spreadsheets are a tool, and tools should be wielded properly, not be making us slaves to them! *sighing*
I will be glad when I can be at the store all the time, rather than answering the same question, over and over and over again.
