Writing Meme from [livejournal.com profile] ursa_mater

Those of you who know me, know that I am the mun / writer for [livejournal.com profile] fannyfae,[livejournal.com profile] nomanselizabeth, [livejournal.com profile] faery_ring and [livejournal.com profile] sheldonsandscia

Here is how this meme works: Give me some lyrics (JUST A COUPLE LINES, PLEASE) and I will write for you something about one of your characters and one of mine. I know many of you have many characters, and if my muses have not interacted with yours for a while, just mention something to help jog my memory!

And ALTERNATIVELY for ... people who don't or who have not RP'ed with me or my muses, pick some lyrics, and I shall find a muse to respond with a few paragraphs...or something. Trust me, I have a few in addition to the ones above.

I went sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named "Fumanchu'
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I'd been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

And I think you know most of my muses... the ones I still rp at least.

The mouth of the Great Hap, known to many as the Nile, is a wild and dangerous place. I stood near the edge that overlooked Abu Simbel, looked down at the giant colossus that Usermaatre Rameses built in honour of himself and his queen, Merynmut Nefertiry. The wind whipped my hair about my face. In spite of being in the desert, there was little warmth afforded in the morning air. The only warmth was the hand that I felt at my back. Turning I looked into my companion's one good eye. He seemed as exhilarated as I was.

"This is the place where the Northern Kingdoms met the South," I said, "The last time I was here, we faced am enemy. Now I only face having done that which I have never done before."

His smile was a smirk and I thought I saw admiration in that one eye of his, "What is it that a woman such as you has never done, Madame, for surely you have lived long enough."

"Fly," I said, brushing a kiss at the corner of his mouth, "Not before today." With a sudden leap of legs and heart I hurled myself off the edge of the limestone cliff, into the arms of Shu, down toward the surface of Hapi, avoiding the embrace of Geb. The soft chastising whisper of silk in the breeze broke my fall.
