Nikos and I are writing again. It seems the lastest installment in
Tango Cattivo has inspired him to continue on. Thank you Will and Christine de Treville. This next installment has my character backed into a proverbial corner with my favorite love-to-hate guy, Nikos Christodoulakis - who reminds me frighteningly of Mr. Sark on Alias. How on earth will Aisha get out of it?! Stay tuned for the next exciting installment. I am hoping that Nikos is finishing up his bit so that I can get started on mine. Actually, I already am on it, I just have to wait for a few more details before I can continue on. NOt that I wouldn;t have but the Nikos / Aisha collaboration will continue for as long as he and I both wish, so rumors of their mutual demise are highly exaggerated. Besides, she still has to seduce him at least once! ;-)
Meanwhile, in other news, my friend,
webcrowmancer is posting more fictional loverliness to
barbossa_fic. I am almost finished with a bit between dear sweet Hector Barbossa and
userbenu watching the first two seasons of Alias now out on DVD. It was my make-nice gift for being gone (again!) on her birthday for Pantheacon. She said, "If you think you can buy me with copies of Alias on DVD, well then you are absolutely right!" As a result the rest of us have been absolutely glued to the tube. I am getting envious grunts and growls from
willgrizz who only got Season One of Alias on DVD. Oh well, Will, darling, if you are a good boy maybe I will fill in the highlights of Season Two! bwhaahaha! Then again, he may decide to splurge and get himself season two. I heard it is on sale at Sam's for really cheap! *wink*
Tomorrow it is back to the same old bump and grind at work, and it is monday, the one day of the week where it is absolutely insane. I spend the first hour of my day listening to voice mail, mostly from those who expect Frontier to be open on Saturdays, most of those Whole Foods and Fred Meyer, which after three plus years of us being their sole provider of bulk herbs should know that we are not open on Saturdays. I guess I cannot expect any different from companies that never seem to know their account numbers and are by and large always hard pressed to show up for their phone in orders with actual item numbers rather than just descriptions. Oddly, in the two years of doing business with them, I have never set foot in a Whole Foods store. I wonder what they are like. Fred Meyer I remember from when I lived in Seattle with
userbenu and my ex-husband, his father. Fred Meyer was just up the street from where we usually went and as I remember they were very high end and very pricey. I see things havein't changed much in 16 years! ;-)
