userbenu has come down sick with a hacky cough thing and asthma. Time to use that Osha syrup I made. This means I won't be going to Des Moines afterall. You have to do what you have to do. I cannot in good conscience go to Des Monies - nearly 200 miles away, when my child is this sick.
It's one thing to sit and learn about herbs, its another thing to use what one knows. Funny thing is, I have always been cast into the arena of having to actually use it. Which means I will most likely be submitting a body of work along with what I am doing for my AHG designation as a professional. I wish it meant the same thing in this country as what being a Medical Herbalist over in the UK does. If you have that you can go practically anywhere, and even in the land of the Patriot Gestapo, here in the US, they tend to leave you alone. Over there herbalists must have and get credit for clinical hours. That would be SO nice over here!
