It is so bloody cold today! I will most probably build a fire soon. Im rather frustrated that with all this cold, we have no snow to speak of yet.
I talked to a very dear friend last night. He and I have not spoken for at least six to nine months, but it is always a joy when we do get to again, at last. I watch him with the intimate knowledge that no matter what, he will not only be fine, he will prosper. I fully expect to be reading about him in an issue of US or People magazine in the very near future. His is the quiet success that has a true star quality. I see so many people posturing and posing for position trying to impress the masses with their machinations and a carefully worded ciriculum vitae. The dress for success and the projection of "attitude" into a role that is being played is absent here. This man needs no such petty manipulations or accolades to hearald his entrance into a room. You know greatness resides within his graceful body, and it is far from a surprise. It is that intangible something that so many others struggle with in order to create about themselves. It is simply awe inspiring when it is a truly natural state of someone's inner and outer being. ;-)
